Of course, stupid me. I should have seen the 
	[...]
        ptep = pte_offset_map(pmd, address);
	[...]
            pte = *ptep;
            address += PAGE_SIZE;
            ptep++;
	[...]
bit a few lines above. Guess I should have spend more than 2min creating 
the patch.
