inotify in the official kernel?

Hi,

Are there any estimates for when inotify will finally make it into the 
official kernel? The mm kernels are getting pretty well tested, and it's 
fairly obvious that inotify is a big improvement on dnotify. It would be 
really cool to have this more widely distributed.
