Yes, the same errors under all of them. I've tried it under 
systemrescuecd 
- same results.

No, it does not have it.

There is only DOS and only diagnostic utility. I've not tried it yet, 
since it does not have any repair option anyway.

That is a very good suggestion. I've totally forgotten about hdparm. This 
is the only thing I've not tried yet. I'll try it the next few days, 
since I get busy with other things right now.
