Thanks for the suggestions.  I have decided to try Quarry (Gnome Go)
because it is something I have played before in the distant past. And,
Spring because it fits my self-stated criteria and I like the eye-candy.
I will find out with Spring whether my criteria is what I really want.
So far it has been an intriguing came just try to figure out how to set
it up.
