I just installed F14 yesterday, and I'm coming from Ubuntu.  In Ubuntu,
whenever I plugged in a thumb drive or connected my Motorola Droid, it
would automatically mount.

In F14, it tries to mount but just an error pops up and tells me that
I'm 'Not Authorized.'

It lists the drive in the Places menu, and I've tried adding my user
accounts to various groups, including root, with no success.  I've seen
a few threads online with similar complaints, but have yet to come
across any solutions.

Help?

Hi Jason! Humm, in Fedora 13/14 you can work with any kind of USB performing normal tasks,
try another port and plug your usb again to start copyng/reading files from it.

Some programs like UnetBootin need to mount the usb trough the console:

1.- fdisk -lu

2.- mount -t vfat /dev/sdc1 /mnt (Here you have to put the correct device you want to mount acording to the fdisk list)

And that's all... Verify your USB is OK with Gparted.

Good Luck!
