I always install yumex
then I proceed to http://www.mjmwired.net/resources/mjm-fedora-f12.html
and do everything that is there.  Important is RPMFUSION which will yield many many hundreds of programs.


There are so many programs (applications) available that you can be kept busy just downloading. Only take what you need today.  The programs are there for tomorrow and the days after.
