Anyone else getting the following error when trying to sign in to AIM, today:

"Received unexpected response from http://api.oscar.aol.com/aim/startOSCARSession";

Goto Manage Account -> Select your AIM Account -> Select Modify -> Goto the "Advanced Tab" -> Uncheck 'Use SSL'

Seems a recent change in AIM has caused issues with pidgin... that workaround will solve the issue until the bug is fixed.

Pidgin Developers are already aware of the problem.
