Hello guys,

I did not use gdm for some time and now I'm not happy how it looks in Fedora
11.
First of all - the list of local users is unacceptable from security
reasons. Even if it supports such "an " option - how it can be the default
one?!

Having the user list on by default makes sense for a home PC that is only going to be used by one or two users, and where security is less important. There is a disable_user_list gconf option, see
http://library.gnome.org/admin/gdm/2.26/gdm.html#greeterconfiguration
