I had tried that last night, to no avail. But, this morning, it updated no problem. Go figure!

BTW, I'm curious about this dellsysidplugin2 - I have it on my netbook. So far I haven't found out anything about it.

I don't know. I assume it got installed because its its a Dell Dimension 3000 desktop. It was a surprise to me too, since I've never installed on a Dell before.
