power mgmt, screen off, selinux - F11

My screen no longer shuts off after 30 minutes.

It had been fine, but on SYSTEM -> PREFERENCES -> POWER MANAGEMENT, I clicked the "Make Default" button. After entering the root password, the were several selinux errors regarding the labeling of %gconf.xml in ~/.gconf/apps. I put selinux into permissive mode and tried again.

My screensaver now kicks in at the desired time, but the monitor is no longer turned off.

It looks like the file is set correctly in my home directories. Suggestions?
