Have you tried this on fedora 11? Looking at the actually
installed files, the only place that runs the normal
cron.daily, etc scripts is now the /etc/anacrontab file.
The shipped /etc/crontab is completely devoid of content,
and the /etc/cron.d directory only has the script that
gets anacron going.

I haven't had anacron for years either, but it looks
a lot harder to get rid of now on fedora 11 :-).
