Just downloaded fedora 11 x86-64 DVD iso torrent and also from ftp site.

What is the checksum of your bittorrent image????

FTP? Did you do a "binary" download?

Did you check file sizes?

I get a different sha256 checksum. The CHECKSUM file says:

9f733ef43d470217a08dd3f4214deecccfc9e6d5041dc8eef47d990c419a6884
*Fedora-11-x86_64-DVD.iso

I get: sha256sum

071137508861ee038bafa209f14c2bc6846040228d78e565f1ec341a9b520a4f
Fedora-11-x86_64-DVD.iso

I'm able to open the iso in archive manager so I don't think it's
corrupt. Any thought?

If the checksum doesn't match, something is different somewhere in the ISO image. Save yourself some grief later by fixing it now....

-Thanks
