Re: trying to upgrade via yum

Thanks for raising the question... In simple terms do I need to download FC11 tonight or can I just run yum (what's simplest so I don't bug you with stupid novice questions late in the evening :-)

With Fedora 11, the mirrorlist has changed into a metalink.  It seems
your version of yum doesn't know how to read metalinks.  Try changing
your mirrorlist to:

mirrorlist=https://mirrors.fedoraproject.org/mirrorlist?repo=fedora-$releasever&arch=$basearch
