Bonjour,

I try to configure my laptop modem....

If I use wvdial as root, there is no problem, I can get a ppp connection.

It I use it as John Doe, the answer is:

Cannot open /dev/ttyS0: Device or resource busy

What is missing.

Another question: by default, owner, group and permissions for ttyS0 are:

crw-rw---- 1 root uucp 4, 64 juin 6 11:56 /dev/ttyS0

I changed permissions to: crw-rw-rw-

How can I make this change the default permissions

Thanks
