if you are attempting to use yum to go from FC-5 to F10, I would
suggest
that you forget that. Then the fact that you have packages from 3rd
parties just simply piles on to the skills required to accomplish the
task, especially considering that the interim fedora repositories have
disappeared.

Best to back up /home and install F10 new/clean from live-CD or DVD

Craig,

Not sure I understand.   What do you mean by 'live'?

As mentioned above, I can no longer read my DVD drive or USB's,
only HD is available.

Is there not an RPM or anything I can download and invoke just
to get the system and services back in place?
