Fedora 8 is no longer supported, so they have been removed from the mirrors.
As others have pointed out, the files are available from an archive server,
but they are no longer updated in any way.

Time to upgrade to Fedora 10! (Skip Fedora 9, its end of life is also coming
soon.)
