Oh bother....

What if those of us that know the value of bottom posting
would simply reply as I have done above when replying to
someone that top posts?  

In this way the original offending poster might get a productive 
answer at the same time as he is given the hint.

Variations of the initial line could be
   a. See reply below... this is a bottom post list.
   b. See reply below... this is a bottom post list!
   c. See reply below... this is a BOTTOM post list.
   d. See reply below... this is a BOTTOM POST LIST!
   ....
