This is an excessive brute-force solution and is going to lose ALL KDE 
settings, so I do NOT recommend doing this.

Resetting Plasma settings only is easy, you just have to:
rm -f ~/.kde/share/config/plasma*rc
(There are just 2 files with Plasma settings: plasmarc and plasma-appletsrc.)
