VNC - connection refused (111)

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hello, I have recently re-installed fedora on a client machine (Fedora
9 from FC6) and now from that machine VNC connection does not work any
more (it did with FC6 installed).

Iptables is not running on either machine.

I can get a VNC connection on the server machine from another user, so
VNC is working OK, therefore it seems to be a firewall problem.

The two machines are both connected to the same router - one via
ethernet (static IP address), the other by wireless (this is the only
configuration difference I can think of c.f FC6 setup - then both
machines had static IP ethernet connections to the router).

Help!
