Hi,

I'd suggest this tool because it is fast when downloading large files.

The project URL is http://axel.alioth.debian.org/
You can build rpm by yourself, using this spec:
http://alioth.debian.org/tracker/download.php/100070/413085/310938/2671/axel.spec

BTW, There is a good yum plugin that uses "axel" to download large rpm
files, written by Wesley Wang from China.

The project URL is http://cnfreesoft.googlecode.com/
You can build rpm with spec file "yum-axelget": (as an attachment of
http://www.linuxsir.org/bbs/showthread.php?p=1871247 )

Thanks!
