Hi,

Does anyone know of a F repository with ClustalW installed?

No, but it's a doddle to install from the statically linked binary distribution at:

ftp://ftp.ebi.ac.uk/pub/software/clustalw2/2.0.9/

Just unpack it and copy the clustalw2 binary to /usr/local/bin.

[watch for commands wrapping to the next line]

wget ftp://ftp.ebi.ac.uk/pub/software/clustalw2/2.0.9/clustalw-2.0.9-linux-i386-libcppstatic.tar.gz

tar -xzvf clustalw-2.0.9-linux-i386-libcppstatic.tar.gz

cd clustalw-2.0.9-linux-i386-libcppstatic

su

cp clustalw2 /usr/local/bin/
