Where's the XFCE Fedora 9 iso? if it exists?
News to report,
Fedora Live - i686 - Live
and
Fedora Live - i686 - Live -KDE
both fail to boot on my friend's old Pentium 3 450 MHZ
machine. The good news is that Ubuntu 8.0.4, Kubuntu
and Xubuntu also failed not getting ahead of Fedora on
that machine. The only chance Fedora has on getting
that machine is the XFCE Live CD. If it fails, then
another small type distro, DSL, Austrumi, Slitaz
and/or Puppy will live on that machine.
BTW the messages are too much to handle, too many
ata2.0 failed to load error 16.. retrying....
showed up in 10 minutes the machine tried to advance
to show login, but when he tried to login, it looped
back at him giving him login screen again. The KDE
and Gnome LiveCD's are too heavy for that old machine.
Maybe XFCE can work here.
