I'm looking at a 9-Beta mirror, and I see that 9 seems to still have glibc2.7, specifically "2.7.90".


I was hoping to play with 2.8, specifically the timerfd API.

Can we expect to get 2.8 as an update, later on, or does the 2.7.90 buildinclude the timerfd bits, as the 2.6.25 kernel does support the API.
