Please help! I have a software update on a linux 7.2 kernel system

What "7.2" - there has never beed a Fedora 7.2 or a Linux 7.2, so it's a
bit hard to guess what you are using ?

Redhat 7.2 linux (2.4 kernel) I think it's a mount problem, but I have
no idea why? Other cd's mount fine? Why can't it read this one?

Oh, this may be a little clearer.
if Other CD's mount in this box and read fine, with long file names, then it could be the CD was created with out Joliet and RR extensions.
