What is missing?
A copy of your xorg.conf as well as the lines in the Xorg.0.log that shows
what is happening when the glx module is loaded...as in:
(II) LoadModule: "glx"
(II) Loading /usr/X11R6/lib/modules/extensions/libglx.so
(II) Module glx: vendor="NVIDIA Corporation"
compiled for 4.0.2, module version = 1.0.0
