it seems to me to be very out of date.
Half of it is about booting from a floppy.
Do any computers have floppy drives nowadays?

ALL things I have found spend time talking about making a grub floppy! I think that as a place to start they may be fine but a new paper about the new grub is needed. And it will talk a lot about using grub from a Fedora DVD.
