Just for fun I thought I would try this to and I see the same thing. I
initially ran yum update and it indicated that there was nothing to
update. Then I ran 'yum clean metadata' and now there are a 180 MB of
stuff that yum wants to update:

Remove 0 Package(s)

Is this ok [y/N]:

I ran the following command to verify that there wasn't something up
with the Arch type or something:

# yum list installed | grep NetworkManager
NetworkManager.i386 1:0.7.0-0.6.6.svn3138.
installed
NetworkManager-glib.i386 1:0.7.0-0.6.6.svn3138.
installed
NetworkManager-gnome.i386 1:0.7.0-0.6.6.svn3138.
installed

Now I too am curious as to what's going on with this. Clearly there is
something up...
