Amarok, to put it charitably, is quite fragile these days. It often
freezes up, dies, or goes into never-never land when playing local content.

Nonetheless, it's my favorite media player because of its ability to
create dynamic playlists (e.g., all files not heard in the last 30 day
days, ordered randomly).

I have had occassional lockups while playing the live stream from WBEZ
and NPR, but I can't separate that from the other problems.
