The locate command can find files for you on your computer, that your
computer has indexed already.

e.g. [tim@suspishus Desktop]$ locate xorg.conf
     /etc/X11/xorg.conf
     /usr/share/man/man5/xorg.conf.5.gz

If it hasn't indexed it yet, then using the updatedb command will start
it off creating the index.

But I'm not sure from your question if you're trying to find out where
the file is on your system, or somewhere to get a new copy from.
