Is she also doing a web site? CMS?

I've seen interesting integration with CRM stuff (i.e. CiviCRM -
http://www.civicrm.org) and you get a web site CMS too (Drupal or
Joomla). See CiviMail module

Otherwise, in a mail list in a vacuum...I wouldn't know.
