Hi,

I would like to ask for help on that matter as well.

Kip Thomas írta:
Guys,

Please help. My java is still not working when tested against SUN web
site and javatester.org.
It says applet not initialized.

I did run mozilla-plugin-config as root. I'm using firefox 32 bit.

It says the plugin is loaded.

Thanks,

GCJ Web Browser Plugin 1.4

    File name: gcjwebplugin.so
The GCJ Web Browser Plugin executes Java applets.

MIME Type Description Suffixes Enabled
application/x-java-vm IcedTea class,jar Yes
application/x-java-applet IcedTea class,jar Yes
application/x-java-applet;version=1.1 IcedTea class,jar Yes

I am using x86_64 firefox, about:plugins says that
I have the java plugin registered. Both
http://www.javatester.org/version.html
and
http://www.java.com/en/download/help/testvm.jsp
says that I have Java 1.7 from Sun, the Sun page also
shows the "dancing Duke" but
http://analyze.privacy.net/test.asp?RequestCookies=&Requestdate=&refer=http://privacy.net/analyze/
thinks otherwise:

*Java Information*

JavaApplets: True
JavaEnabled: False

Also, on a totally Java based games site (http://jojatek.hu)
the games do not start at all. They say "applet not initialized".

guys,

help me. I made the link, checked SELinux like i did. I've got the
experience ya know? I've done all this on all F* up to F7
I also learned a new command "alternatives"

nothing helped. "applet not initialized" testing again "google java
tester"....just a blank pink box

info on the new brave, free, iced cool java is scant.

i386 32 bit F8

help the poor soul....ktnx
