As long as 'you' are not doing anything on The Internet it should not
change much when connected to The Internet. If it jumps then something is
using your computer and burning up your time.


It took me a while but I finally realized these are instructions for Windows. I normally use XFCE and brought up a second window with Gnome but none of this worked!

I will have to venture into the teen agers room once more!
