I downloaded the latest BIOS flash and installed it. There is still no"Cool and quiet" selection in the BIOS to enable.
sounds kind of improbable :-), check once again, "Advanced" -> "CPU configuration" -> "AMD Cool'n'Quiet function" See the manual e.g. http://www.physik.fu-berlin.de/de/zedv/support/manuals/mainboard/e2527_m2npv-vm.pdf P.
