Anyone know what's wrong and how to fix this? I saw a similar message after updating the kernel and rebooting. The laptop where I saw it has a Broadcom bcm43xx chipset. I think that the new kernel has updated Broadcom wireless code which needs new 4.x firmware. As opposed to the 2.6.21 kernels which need 3.x firmware. So if you have a box with a Broadcom wireless chipset I would check the current firmware and install the newer 4.x version if appropriate.
