Ok i did the xhost already but here it is again:

[awp@localhost ~]$ xhost
access control enabled, only authorized clients can connect
SI:localuser:awp
[awp@localhost ~]$ xhost +localhost
localhost being added to access control list
[awp@localhost ~]$ env | grep
Usage: grep [OPTION]... PATTERN [FILE]...
Try `grep --help' for more information.

I think it would help if you login as yourself and simply type "xhost" and
post the output.  Also the output of "env | grep DISP" may be useful.
