Can you specify the command? I tried running:
ldconfig /usr/lib64

and no go

Restarted, and tried reinstalling too... no go... still on the same error.

Did I mention I'm using x86_64??? I also uninstalled all the i386 libs...

Not a problem at all, try to do: ldconfig.

Or, reboot your system, or restart all your libraries, reload
etc...

It will work then probably.
