Hi all

I install intel pro/1000 MF Dual port server adapter in fedora 7and use the system-config-network to configure the Intel card

it is ok and eth0 eth1 are in the /etc/sysconfig/network-script
dmesg and ifconfig can see the correct eth0 and eth1

When I restart the network or reboot the computer, the ip address doesn't bind the card.

What is wrong of it?

it only has this message "SIOCGIFFLAGS: No such device"
I think I see that message if I try to adjust the network settings as a normal user rather than root.

You might like to try: service network stop and then service network start in a terminal, with the hope that some further messages are shown {or perhaps in /var/log/messages}

It may be that the module for netcard is not loading. In fact:
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=243586
might be the same issue.
