If you distribution has a build of k3b I would suggest installing it.

Then just choose burn dvd image.

I second that suggestion. The menu is a little bit hidden (at
least in the version I run). Invoke k3b, then click on the
Tools button near the top, select DVD, then Burn DVD ISO Image.
