Kernel Panic Error

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hi All,
I booted my laptop this morning and am continuously receiving kernel panic
errors regardless of which kernel I attempt to boot.

The error message occurs at the "starting udev" boot phase:

Kernel Panic - Not syncing: Out of memory and no killable processes ...

Then my caps lock light begins flashing.

I was wondering if someone might be able to step me through what may have
to be done to resurrect my system.

I am guessing I will need the FC6 recovery CD which I am downloading as I
type this email.

Thanks again for your assistance.

Cheers,
Tony Crouch
