Question: How do i run a rpm-database recovery ???

Thanks very much

I've experienced this type of problem once with yum. It completed the install and afterward showed the same packages available. This was with test. I could not reproduce the failure though.

I did not see database corruption though with this error.

Message with problem:
https://www.redhat.com/archives/fedora-test-list/2007-January/msg00133.html

Bug report opened up, then closed since problem was one time incident.
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=222400

Others gave clues to how to repair the rpm database.

It's union rules. There's nothing we can do about it. Sorry.
