This appears to be reported in bug 216310, though I don't see a resolution:

So unless anyone has anything to augment this, I will consider this thread closed and done with.



If I decoded the bug report correctly, there is possibly a problem with UDP or TCP not being setup to allow access through the firewall.

I do not use NFS so am not sure as to what port nfs uses and which protocols are required to get a working NFS.
