# lspci
or:
# lspci | grep -i ati


Yup, that's what it is:

Yes - if X fails, check you have the xorg ati driver installed:
$ yum list *x*ati*
xorg-x11-drv-ati.i386                    6.6.3-1.fc6            installed


It is already installed:
Installed Packages
xorg-x11-drv-ati.i386                    6.6.3-1.fc6            installed
