Google on MediaDirect.  The BIOS changes the partition table when
MediaDirect is started by pressing the hotkey.  Something is supposed to
change it back when MediaDirect is done.  I don't know any more than that.

Thanks, I will google that. I had only googled Dell Laptop Media
Button and variations thereof. I did not know that it is called
MediaDirect.
