Is there someone who knows what this means? The contents of /etc/yum.conf

You might check with these folks = http://fedoralegacy.org/
Their website indicates they're supporting 9 . -----gary

Thanks Gary,
I will give a one try.
The problem that I had was that not only I cannot do any update of the OS, but also some programs, like LaTeX, do not do what they are supposed to do. So if I do not find any solution quickly, I will install it in the mean time under Windows(poor me), and reinstall the server with Fedora or Centos.

Thanks again
roland
