I had no trouble with FC6, but did have the same problem with
FC4fedora-list mailing list

I finally increased the resolution of the screen which made the evolution window smaller.  At this point I could grab a side of the evolution window and change the size.  After I reduced the size quite a bit, I changed my screen resolution back to what I had before and could resize evolution without a problem.
