Hi all,

I downloaded mplayer-1.0-0.46.pre8.lvn
Firefox gave the message download complete and I clicked on "Open" Thereafter, I got a message "Retrieving Software details" and after much time I got a message sating "Error Resolving Dependencies"
The details are as follows
=========================
Missing Dependency: libncurses.so.5()(64bit) is needed by package mplayer
Missing Dependency: libasound.so.2(ALSA_0.9.0rc8)(64bit) is needed by package mplayer
Missing Dependency: libstdc++.so.6(CXXABI_1.3)(64bit) is needed by package mplayer

==========================

It seems I have a 32bit arch. Can someone pls suggest which other application would prove to be useful to play DVDs, MP3s.

Another query is about listening to live radio stations online but most of them support WMP. Any application for Linux that would help me to listen live streaming music/radio?

TIA.
Rgds,
AA
