thanks, but it did not make a difference.
my setup below if it matters.
(DSL)-->(802.11b router)--|--->(100mbps link to eth0)
(DHCP+firewall ) (with crossover cable)
Similar problem was experienced with an rhel clone, and was never solved
with my limited knowledge as i stopped in favor of FC6
why is it that some web pages work but others never load?
