Nope. Four main partitions. One or more of them can be extended
partitions. (There is no good reason to have more than one extended
partition unless you're using dd and going to a bigger disk or
perhaps for some "security" reason someone might dream up.)

From the extended partition you can have dozens of partitions. I
once had a multiple boot partition that was acreted from successively
larger disks that had about 30 partitions or so back in the RH 5.0
days. I've cut down on such excesses since then merging partitions
whenever the added disk space is big enough to allow me to do that in
a practical manner.
