Well the above message indicates that it can't mount the root filesystem .
Try a text mode installation but at the begining instead of simply pressing
Enter  use the command

linux   preload=module , where module , is the appropriate module for the
usb disk that you are trying to use . Another remark is that although
you are loading the appropriate module the kernel doesn't seem to correctly
identify the usb disk , so it refers to it with the term "unknown-block(0,0)
