firefox is not working in FC5

Hi

I m trying to browse in fedora 5 with firefox . it is not able to
connect to websites . mean while i can

1) ping to yahoo.com or any websites
2) In Konqueror everything i can able to browse
3) i can also able connect through telent .eg (telnet yahoo.com 80)

Does any settings required in FC5 for firefox ?
